Instead of fretting, which can raise stress hormone levels, try lying quietly and counting your blessings, which will put your mind in a more relaxed state. Watch for excessive pre-bed stimulation, including looking at the computer screen. The artificial light source can throw off your body’s biological clock and delay the onset of sleep.
